Application requirements

Here's what you need to apply for OTM dispatch services. For more details, see our Frequently Asked Questions or our blog post "How to become an OTM client."

Your Motor Carrier (MC) authority must be active and at least 90 days old. New to trucking? Our Company Setup service helps you apply for MC authority and handles the paperwork (federal processing timelines apply).

You must be registered as a "Carrier" entity (not a broker or freight forwarder) with the FMCSA.

Your Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) safety rating should be either "Satisfactory" or "Not Rated." Trucking companies under conditional or unsatisfactory rating cannot be onboarded until resolved.

Your Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASIC) scores must be below the intervention threshold. We'll help review your scores during onboarding.

Workers' comp (if you have employees)
